Refund Policy

1. Overview

This Refund Policy explains when and how you can receive a refund for grindfi subscription payments. We want you to be satisfied with our service, and we've designed this policy to be fair to both our customers and our business.

Our Commitment

We offer a 7-day free trial so you can test grindfi before paying. This allows you to evaluate the service risk-free.

2. Free Trial

All new users are eligible for a 7-day free trial:

  • No payment required to start the trial
  • Full access to trial-tier features
  • Cancel anytime during the trial with no charge
  • One trial per server - trials cannot be restarted

We strongly encourage you to thoroughly test grindfi during your trial period to ensure it meets your needs before subscribing.

3. Refund Eligibility

We want everyone to have a great experience with grindfi. If something isn't working well for you, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.

Refund Window

If you're not satisfied during the first 7 days after your initial payment, contact us and we will issue a full refund.

For EU customers: You have 14 days from your initial purchase to request a full refund, in accordance with EU Consumer Rights Directive.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within your eligibility window, please contact us:

We respond Monday-Friday, usually within 24 hours.

Information Required

To process your refund quickly, please provide:

  • Your Discord username and user ID
  • The Discord server where grindfi was activated
  • Date and amount of the purchase
  • Reason for the refund request

Providing complete information helps us resolve your request without delays.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Through the grindfi dashboard (Settings → Subscription)
  • By contacting us via Discord or email

What Happens When You Cancel

  • Your access continues until the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged for future periods
  • No partial refund is issued for unused time
  • Your data is retained for 30 days in case you resubscribe

We recommend using the full free trial period to evaluate grindfi before subscribing. Once you subscribe, you're committing to that billing period.

6. Plan Upgrades and Downgrades

6.1 Upgrades

When you upgrade to a higher tier:

  • You'll be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing period
  • New features are available immediately
  • No refund for the previous plan's unused time (it's credited toward the upgrade)

6.2 Downgrades

When you downgrade to a lower tier:

  • The change takes effect at the start of your next billing period
  • You keep access to higher-tier features until then
  • No partial refund is issued for the current period

7. Service Credits

In cases of significant service disruption (not eligible for refund), we may offer service credits:

  • Outages over 4 hours: Prorated credit for affected time
  • Major feature unavailable: Case-by-case evaluation
  • Data loss (our fault): Extended subscription or partial refund

Service credits are applied to future billing and cannot be exchanged for cash.

8. Billing Disputes

If you believe there's an error with your billing (duplicate charge, incorrect amount, etc.):

  1. Contact us via Discord or email (see below)
  2. Provide: Your Discord username, date of the charge, and description of the issue
  3. We'll investigate and respond within 3 business days

Legitimate billing errors will be corrected promptly.

9. Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Chargebacks:

  • Incur fees that harm our small business
  • Take longer to resolve than direct refund requests
  • May result in permanent account suspension

If you have a legitimate concern, we're happy to work with you directly to resolve it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will not affect refund requests already in progress. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
